A letter from Amy
I feel so humbled that you are taking your time to read this letter because of what it could mean for women and their children across the globe. These past seven years, we have seen God show up again and again. We are inviting you to be a part of that. To invest in these specific women so they can love their community.
I witnessed something recently that made me realize how irreplaceable this group of women is in the community. One of the neighbor’s young wife passed away and she was pregnant. The husband was obviously emotionally wrecked. A few days after the funeral, the whole group of women here went to support him. They took a small amount of money and a Bible. He wasn’t there, but he got the message and showed up at the workshop after they had all gone home for the day. Evelyn sent a message and many of them returned to comfort him. They talked for a long time, he cried and they spoke truth over him. When the meeting was over, he had become a new believer in Christ. They prayed over him for a very long time.
Before Evelyn left when they first went to see him, she said “showing up is what makes people believe.”
